BUT.......... the best randy alcorn book is money, posessions and eternity. i recommend this book all the time and NO one reads it.lol. it is a big book and constantly hammers home the concept of KEEPING AN ETERNAL PERSPECTIVE in All things; particularly with your money. it is a fantastic read and one i try to read and read a lot.heaven is a great book but there is a lot for us to focus on right in the here and now. m.p. & e does that. it gives some very specific ways to bless others and take the focus off of yourself and at the same time help to advance the kingdom of God and bring glory to Him. there is a condensed version of the book called the treasure principle. it is ok but m p & e is SO much better. ok....there is my 2 cents! God bless! julie harrisjuliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14868576681111648856noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8530891922136686493.post-36081066279469509892008-05-13T11:02:00.000-07:002008-05-13T11:02:00.000-07:00I have read the book Heaven and LOVED IT. I'm stil...I have read the book Heaven and LOVED IT. I'm still coming to terms with the whole intermediate heaven thing, but mainly because i have never been taught that before. It's a whole new way of understanding things for me.

I recommend this book highly. In fact...who has my book right now? I lent it out...

I have also read a couple of fiction books by Alcorn but I have to admit, I'm not a huge Christian Fiction reader. I like non-fiction. And I have not read any of Alcorn's non-fiction books except Heaven.

I'm way more excited to go to Heaven after having read his book than I ever was before!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
